Many of our sons and daughters have sacrificed their lives to ensure the survival of our republic. Yet the war against the revolting province of Taranor is still not won. We urgently need new recruits. Our chancellor has drafted all bearers of this letter. They are now soldiers in the service of the Republic. Their service began when this letter was signed. They are now separated from any and all duty to the Abbey for the duration of the war.
