lag auf der weiten Wiese 'rum.
Groß und stark wollt' er erscheinen,
war in seiner Dummheit nur am weinen.
Sein Hofstaat, groß und mächtig,
so erscheint er jedem prächtig.
Denn dieser bestand gar,
aus einer großen Fliegen Schar.
Schwirren sie um Baros Kopf,
duftet er doch wie des Nachtes Topf.
Und ist der Baro gar so dumm,
so liegt er auch heut' noch auf der Wiese 'rum.
Hoch lebe unser Baro!
