When visiting Darlan before the Main quest The Liberation, it is in ruins and totally devastated by the occupying Middlerealm Soldiers. The village becomes rebuilt with time, after you liberate the Castle Darlan. The map marker for the town is not present until The Liberation is completed.

Notes

• After The Liberation quest completes, the place is repopulated, reconstructed, and now discover-able on the map.
• Both houses are named Darlan, House. They are differentiated by their editor IDs and their shape.
• These houses are not owned and everything is free to take/use except the bed in Darlan, Residential House as it is owned by Reman due a mistake; as Reman's House is identical in appearance to the Darlan Residential House. Sure Ai simply forgot to remove the ownership from the bed when it was copied over.
• Your statue’s equipment is locked the moment you re-enter the area of Darlan after The Liberation quest is completed. It can be rebuilt by activating the base of the statue in Nehrim Expanded.
• Standing on top of the wooden pergola just above the crafting station may cause your character to become stuck.
• Darlan does not have a jail so if you commit a crime and go to jail, you'll be sent to Cahbaet, Prison instead.
