Description

No Sturdy Shoes is started after finishing The Robbers' Nest. The lady Bodenbruuk is particularly interested in certain fashionable shoes, which include such materials as brocade, silk, velvet, and lamb. When the quest is started, the shoes will be placed in the mentioned locations.

Warning: The Silver Brocade Shoes and the Lady's Calfskin Shoes will become unavailable due to main quest progression.

Walkthrough

The shoes can be found in the following places:

Inodanish Velvet Shoes

• In Barateon's Chamber in Erothin, Palace. The shoes are placed next to the Barateon's bed. Similarly, you can access this area during and after the main quest A Mad Venture, but not during The Chancellor's Fate, as accessing this area then (through the A Mad Venture entrance) results in a failed state and forces a reload.
• Another pair can be found in Erothin, Arantheal's Chamber. You access this room during Hope at the End of the World.

Gold-Embroidered Lambskin Shoes

• Found in the Library Of Treomar. After killing Aspheron, search his desk. You can find it on the table in the same room as the document about Narathzul Arantheal. This place becomes available during the Main quest The Ruins of Treomar.
• Another pair can be found in the Ostian Palace.

Cahbaeter Princess Shoes

• In an open chest in Captain Dratis' office in Fortress of Cahbaet - Stronghold of Cahbaet

Silver Brocade Shoes

• In Arcane Sanctum near one of the beds in Arcane Sanctum, Scholars' House. These must be collected before sailing to Arktwend during the quest Into the Forsaken Country, or else they become unavailable for the rest of the game.

Lady's Calfskin Shoes

• Located In the Ostian Palace in the High Priest's Apartment, placed on a bookcase during the main quest Inside the Lion's Den. Grab them during the quest, as this is the only time you can visit the palace.

Tips

• When you pick up shoes appropriate for the madame, your quest will update and inform you of this. So don't bother with picking up every pair of shoes in Nehrim :)
• The quest log will update only if you have already received the quest.
• Quest shoes can be identified by attempting to place them inside the secure chest. It won't be possible.
• Nehrim Expanded adds even more instances of the same shoes to collect that appear before the quest even starts. Those instances aren't covered on this page.

Notes

• The quest cannot be completed and will remain in your journal forever. It allows for repeatable stages but lacks a stage that has the 'complete quest' flag associated with it. Nehrim Expanded fixes this by adding an additional quest stage (70) with the appropriate functions to complete the quest properly.
• The velvet shoes are made in or inspired by Inodan, based on the German text. The same goes for the princess shoes and Cahbaet.
