Secret Meeting Place

Meet with Nicci

The quest silently starts after meeting Nicci at the peninsula just outside Ostian. Nicci will begin approaching you and states that she has managed to provide Callisto and his companions with a dwelling which will be used as their temporary base here in Ostian and hands Callisto the key to the house at the port.

Unexpected Disturbance

While talking to Nicci, you are suddenly approached and disturbed by Southrealm soldiers, who point out that you are in a restricted area. Nicci offers to handle the situation peacefully and starts to convince the soldiers that you are allowed to be here as you all belong to the Temple. However, Callisto disregards her efforts and issues an order to attack the soldiers. Do as he says and kill the intruders.

Confused Kim

Callisto's unexpected attack on the soldiers will take Kim by surprise, as Nicci, the Order's agent, was killed in the attack. Kim starts to argue with Callisto and tries to find out the reason for his sudden attack but Callisto does not allow his subordinates to condemn his actions.

House at the Harbour

When the conversation with Kim is over, Callisto will state that he is going to the house at the port. Kim will start talking to you about his/her confusion and you can either suggest that Kim should go with you or follow Callisto to the house. Whatever your decision is, if you want to proceed with the main quest you should go to the House at the Ostian Harbor (check the location of this house when you are at the port in Ostian).

Narathzul's Plan

Callisto received a letter from Narathzul Arantheal and reveals the leader's plan. Ultimately, you are to trigger a revolution in Ostian by blowing up the statue in the center of the capital. According to Narathzul, the statue is a symbol of the perverse teaching of the temple and destroying it would be like blowing up a symbol. It can change the whole country. However, Narathzul does not want to shed much blood, that is why he wants you to deal with most of the Southrealm soldiers by making them unconscious. Adding poison into their food would accomplish this. It will be done secretly inside the Temple itself.

Callisto's Task

Callisto is to invent a way that would put Narathzul's plan into operation. For this, he will need time to think and dismisses you and Kim. This ends the quest.

Your Task

You have, at most, 2 days at your disposal before Callisto is ready to speak to you. In the meantime, you should search for better equipment, participate in a few side quests in Ostian, or explore the world nearby. Whatever you choose to do, when enough time has passed your Quest Log will update with the information of the next quest Search in Ruins.

Tips

• You can take Kim to accompany you. If you do not want him/her, tell Kim that you want him/her to stay and wait for you.

Bugs

• Callisto does not have dialog when walking to the house.

80		We got together with Nicci, an Order's agent, when suddenly some of the Temple's soldiers appeared. Callisto let loose on them furiously and Nicci died during the fight. I instructed Kim to follow me. Callisto went to the harbor house in Ostian. Once we're ready we should make our way there too.
90		We got together with Nicci, an Order's agent, when suddenly some of the Temple's soldiers appeared. Callisto cut loose on them furiously and Nicci died during the fight. I instructed Kim to go to the harbor house. Once I'm ready, I should make my way there too.
110	End	Callisto unveiled Arantheal's plan for the Southrealm to us. He wants us to blow up the statue in the center of Ostian in order to trigger a revolution. First we have to decimate the guards inside the city by mixing poison into their food. Callisto will think of a plan on how to accomplish that. He will be ready in a few days. I should use the time to look around Ostian and find some good equipment. (You should have reached level 20 before continuing.)
