Description
Sentry Morten is one of the three guards at the Shadow Song Mine Site. However, there are only two of the sentries left, as the incident with the mages cost Sentry Owald his own life.
Morten is the first person that comes to greet you while approaching the Shadow Song Mine gate. Being both duty-bound and aware of his assigned tasks, he informs you about the most unfortunate situation with the mages, as the reason for closing the gate. Morten's duty is to make sure that nobody leaves the Mining Site.

Notes
- It would seem his name was originally supposed to be 'Tate', as all references to him in the CS support this fact.
- Sentry Morten has the Key to the Armory that opens the Armory near the exit gate.
- He is the one who provides you with the key to Shadow Song Mine, Upper Entrance during the Under Siege quest.
- Do not forget to see Morten and finish his task/quest or you will carry the shovels round till you do (quest items).
- He disappears after the main quest.
