The Fortress of Cahbaet is governed by Taranor, as the leader of Cahbaet. Officially, you enter here at the end of the Main quest In the Underworld, but in reality, you can enter here at any time by entering Cahbaet early. What's more, is that the Stronghold of Cahbaet (throne room) is never locked, and entering it will automatically start Daring the Sortie. This in turn leads to the Daring the Sortie Sequence Break.

Note that the fortress has two entrances: the main entrance below the statues, and a side entrance on an enclosed balcony with a catapult on it.

The stronghold of Cahbaet has three entrances/exits: one from the fortress, and two from outside Nehrim.

Tips/Notes

• Note that Cahbaet is surrounded by killscripts, so it is ill-advised to try to explore the boundaries of Cahbaet, as you end up with an untimely end.
• A platform above the bridge leading to the fortress has a guard surrounded by two locked, nonfunctional doors.
• The fireplace inside the Fortress of Cahbaet cannot be used for crafting.
• A lot of benches can be found inside the Stronghold of Cahbaet, but there aren't enough people in the cell to use them.
