Thalgard is a castle in the Thalgard region. 2000 years ago, the Keeper Dal'Marak contaminated the area after his plan to use the Sun Fire to fertilize the land backfired. One night, a bright flash of light illuminated the region and a rotten green fog spread out over the land. The survivors became bloated and were driven to insanity. Their descendants, the Sunborn, can still be found in and around Thalgard. At Thalgard's foot lies the ruined settlement of Malaph.
